The night is still young and we continue to play another game. GeeHuan pulled out of the game and we had Robin coming in with his Pander Legacy deck. Bann took out his Gangrel Wall and Dan switched to his Tariq deck. I put away the Gargoyles to let them ponder about the defeat earlier on and called upon my Lasombra Army of Shadows.
I was to be player 3 this time, bleeding Paul's Imbued and being bled by Dan. My grand prey was Robin and the first player was Bann.
The game started ok for me, with a first turn Information Highway and therefore a first turn Banjoko. A second turn Powerbase Madrid (not much help at this point, and pretty much the whole game) didn't helped me much, but Banjoko successfully called a KRC. I didn't manage to stop the first Legacy of Pander on hitting the table, and soon I saw Robin starting to dominate the vote table. Paul was forced to block my bleeds but was often defeated by my Obtenebration stealth. Gratiano came into play and equipped a Zaire River Ferry, which was a safe guard against the now merged Tariq with a Ghoul Retainer holding an Ivory Bow in one hand and a Sire's Index Finger on the other.
Losing the vote control I fell back to my Lasombra's secondary attack - stealth bleed. Between trying to block Robin's KRC and my bleeds, Paul never had time to build up his Second Sight. A KRC from Banjoko followed by a 5 bleed from Gratiano ended Paul's participation in this game. At that point Robin was already giving Bann a lot of problem, and basically dominating the table. I then brought Antonio onto the table. The multiple Obedience in my hand prolonged the survivability of my Vampires. Although I was unable to call or contest Robin's votes effectively (due to several of Robin's Telepathic Vote Counting), my bleeds were more successful. However, a well-timed Archon Investigation ended the reign of Gratiano, and I was left with 2 Vampires with very little pool resulting from Dan's 2 little weenie Vampire bleeds.
Dan's Tariq then came in to punish Robin for sending a KRC his way, and torpored several of his Vampires, giving me some space to bleed Robin with less resistance. Eventually I was able to oust Robin, but due to the 1 point Political Flux that he called, I didn't really recover from the damage that was done by the AI. An unsucessful attempt to call a Black Forest Base vote by Antonio failed and he went into torpor pretty much ended my attempt to get another VP. By then Antonio's Archbishop title was stripped away by Robin's Excommunication, and Bann had more votes than I do, so I had very little to do anyway.
Dan quickly ousted me but was himself ousted by Bann.
Final VP standing
Bann - 2VP
Me - 2VP
Dan - 1VP
I'm quite happy with my Army of Shadows deck, but today it is not doing what it was supposed to be doing. I'm supposed to quickly use Creation Rites (I had 6 in there) to create small Lasombras and call out Power Structure to completely dominate the vote table. But, oh well, shit happens. Need to further test the deck to see how I can improve it.
