Skirmishes in the Dark : 04-11-2008 Part II

The night is still pretty young and we had time for another game. While the 4 of us (after Dan was ousted) were still busy trying to bargain our way to victory, 4 more players, including Dan and Bann, had started another table. By the time we were done, they were way into their game, so we could only start another game without them, but Big Jeff was around so we still had 4 players.
Seating was determined randomly again. This time I was to be player 2, taking over the deck that I loaned to Bann. I would be bleeding Big Jeff's borrowed Slaughterhouse deck, being bled by Damien's True Brujah, and my ally would be GeeHuan.
The game started off with Big Jeff in a pretty good position. His Harbingers brought out a Shambling Hordes early, and my Rabbat and Teresita were too busy defending against the 2 point bleeds from Damien to do much, my weak bleeds were mostly bounced to GeeHuan and my enter combat cards didn't come into play. I did manage to get an Army of Rats into play though, and it was, for many turns, the only damage that I was doing to my prey. Despite that, due to Rabbat's reputation and her hunting capability, my pool remained reasonably high for me to bring out Maria Stone and Roger Farnsworth eventually, and I started to do some real damage to Big Jeff. By then it was too late, Big Jeff had multiple Shambling Hordes, the Sun Pahraoh, and enough Vampires to swarm over GeeHuan's defense. GeeHuan, despite getting very little support from his ally, did manage to survive with a number of life-gaining votes. Damien's Synesios, meanwhile, is armed to the teeth. From my angle, I saw 3 Clotho's Gift, an Assault Rifle, Aaron's Feeding Razor, Blithe Acceptance, and who knows what else. His 2 point bleeds continued throughout my lifespan. At a certain point I decided that time was late and I did have to get back camp anyway, so I sent all my available Vampires (and Grey Thorne) towards Big Jeff. Damien was down to 1 pool by the time GeeHuan was done with him, but he managed to kill me off, and then proceeded to oust Big Jeff. I did not pay attention to the battle between him and GeeHuan, and ultimately he manage to kill off GeeHuan too. The highlight of the game was that Big Jeff got 6 Slaughterhouses Sudden Reversed or Rewind Time-ed. :) Final Table Standing Damien - Sweep. I think I was too ambitious to want a deck to utilise both Anarch and Black Hand tech. It ended up very diluted, and there aren't enough Black Hands in my crypt to effectively use those abilities. I think I'll just remove the Cadets and just throw in a few Black Hand cards for fun, and focus on using Rabbat to bloat and kill. (o.o)y
